The Professional Discussion will last for 75 minutes and around 10-12 questions, based on the project, will be asked.
Presentation and Q&A Based on Learning Journal
Apprentices will give a 20-minute presentation on competency-based examples from the learning journal that best demonstrate the key themes of ‘new and emerging trends and developments in the L&D sector, ‘L&D specialisms and their business impact’ and ‘leadership’. The Q&A will last for 35 minutes and there will be approximately 5-7 questions to seek clarification.
Results
Results will be communicated within 10 working days of the final assessment.
If an apprentice Fails one or more component, they will be offered the opportunity to re-sit / re-take the component(s). It is then up to the apprentice’s employer how many attempts an apprentice is given.
Where any assessment method must be re-sat or re-taken, the apprentice will be awarded a maximum EPA grade of Distinction. Re-sits and re-takes are not offered to an apprentice wishing to move from Pass to a higher grade.
